Oh, darling, you have no idea what seeing your name has done to me. I still love you so - you should know that if nothing else. Even now, I still imagine I see you here and there, and whisper a prayer for you before bed. And what dreams may come I treasure more than you could know. I don't harbor any illusions about how you may still feel about me, but I do hope, I do wonder, I do dream.
You are the one person in all the world that I love and trust whole-heartedly and without reservation. I know when you last saw me I was in pain, and turned inward. For what - almost two years now?! - I have been a reasonably well human being, my problems solved (or at least dealt with), able to laugh and sing and dance. I've done some acting work every once in a while, I'm trying to collect some poetry into a book, and I've learned how to cook - I even throw dinner parties every so often.
Yes, I'm here at this e-mail, and I want to hear from you. I don't use ICQ very often - so I usually show up as 'offline' - but for you...I've got a phone if you want to call, but I only have the one line, so I can't talk when I'm online. I won't give the number to you until you respond and tell me that you want to talk to me.
SIlly me - it's almost 11PM on Thursday - but I'll stay online till about 2AM watching my inbox on the off chance I'll hear back from you(don't worry, I'll read the news, surf the web, do a little work-related research - it won't be wasted if you don't get this email). Write soon, dear heart. I'll try and get ICQ working on this machine so that you can find me that way, but I don't know how easy that will be.
